But alas, a musical was able to surpass my favorites, which had stood in the first and second-place spots for as long as I can remember. Wicked is the “untold story of the witches of Oz” and it changes the way you see its iconic characters like the Scarecrow, Tinman, and, of course, Glinda (formally known as GA-linda) and the Wicked Witch of the West (formally known as Elphaba).
